Welcome to the World Emma

She's here. She's here. She's here. And oh so cute, I might add. Emma Kenani Kinghorn graced us with her presence April 27, 2012 at 8 a.m. on the dot. She weighed in at 6 lbs 15 oz and was 19 inches long. She has deep blue eyes and blond fuzz. She is a doll. But, don't take my word for it, see for yourself...

First car ride. She fell asleep pretty quick.

This was waiting for us when we got home :D Phil's family put it up, and don't worry, despite what it looks like, they can spell :P

Home at last and enjoying our sleeping princess. And yes, its true, she sleeps just like me :P

Carla comes to visit

Having fun at home, we had to put some mittens on her cause she was scratching her face. She didn't like that very much, haha.

Grandpa and Grandma Harrison come to visit.
Everything went so well and I feel so blessed that she is here and healthy. I'm learning so much about motherhood and about my little girl. She already has quite the personality and I love her to death. I want to thank everyone that supported us and prayed for us during the ups and downs of this pregnancy. And I want to especially thank my mom who came and helped out our first week together. She made all the difference in my transition from hospital to home. And lastly, I want to thank my husband who has been amazing during everything. He supported me physically and emotionally throughout my pregnancy, as I was on bedrest, as I went into false labor, and finally as I went into real labor. He held my hand as the contractions started, persisted, and then got worse. And, he helped hold me up as I pushed Emma out. He is amazing and a natural father. I love him so much.
