There is so much to be grateful for on this lovely day: My wonderful husband, my beautiful family, great friends, an aweso me ward, and a LOVING God. But, the thing I am most grateful for today is that I am done with my first trimester, I have an appetite, and I can enjoy mounds of heavenly FOOD on this blessed day! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I've been really cold lately, but that is probably cause I am a wuss (since I do live in Hawaii).  Halloween has come and gone and now I have an official excuse to be in the Christmas mood. So, what have I been up to you may ask... Lets start with Halloween. I started celebrating at my Ward Relief Society Halloween Party. We played games, ate too much junk food, and had a pumpkin carving contest.  Here are all the pumpkins A cool one to represent BYUH 6th Ward And the pumpkin Christal and I carved. It got a little sick. Right outside my apartment Next we went to a party on Friday night. And Phil and I dressed up as....  SURPRISE! Did you get it? I was an oven with a bun inside... so yes, this is my official blog announcement that I have a "bun in the oven." :D or if you don't understand that idiom, I am expecting. I am 3 months along, and am doing good. OK, back to the party... Phil's sister, Lauren, and her husba...

I just can't seem to get back into my blog quite the same way I was before I left for vacation, but I'm determined to mend my ways. The most exciting thing to happen since I have gotten back is my sister-in-law's wedding reception. It was a blast. I was sort of the designated photographer. So, we're back in Hawaii and it is lovely. The humidity takes some getting used to, but it is totally worth it. Life has sorta just taken over everything, as it often does. Work seems to occupy most of my time. Then, when I am not working, Relief Society duties seem to suck me in. So, here is a bit of what I have been up to since coming back to Hawaii...
